“Antigravity takes you on a wild energetic ride and is well worth the price of admission.” – Patrick McFarland, Ad Terras Per Aspera

“An album of the “chillax at the end of a night out” or “up all night to finish this damn project” variety, Antigravity by zircon is well constructed and flows easily from beginning to end. Before you know it, the sun is coming up and you have to go to work… Antigravity is definitely going in my electronica library.” – R.N., The Compendium Magazine

The much-anticipated follow up to the award-winning IMPULSE PRIME is here!

ANTIGRAVITY is the musical culmination of two full years of work, featuring over 50 minutes of soaring, pulsating, genre-bending rhythms and melodies. Though most of the songs focus on sharp, driving drumlines – phat beats, as it were – the genres included range from big beat, to trance, drum n’ bass, new age/world fusion, and more. Regardless of style, zircon continues to apply stunning attention to detail in his complex sonic textures and dynamic songwriting, which draws its inspiration from artists like BT, Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, The Crystal Method, Ils, Pendulum, and others.

This time around, zircon is not the only musician forging evolved electronic soundwaves. With vocalist Jillian Aversa (www.jillianaversa.com) powering two of the album’s most anthemic tracks – “Breathing You In” and “Antigravity” – this is a side of zircon that you haven’t heard before, but are sure to enjoy. Guitar prodigy Cain McCormack provides some truly overdriven instrumentals on the drum-n-bass song “Depth Charge”, one of the album’s darker, yet still organic, tracks. And on the Moby/Fatboy Slim-inspired “Nitronic”, Jimmy Hinson (www.biggiantcircles.com) tears it up with some funky fresh synth soloing.

If you are a longtime zircon fan, you will not be disappointed with the next stage of musical development and refinement contained in ANTIGRAVITY. If you are a new listener and enjoy electronic music to any degree, you’ll love the blend of hard-hitting beats, ethereal pads, and intricate blends of real and artificial sounds that has become zircon’s signature style.

I just wanted to say that you and Jill sound grate.I am planning on getting back in to school and getting A+,MSCE,MSC, MSOFFICE 2010 and Security Certified for computer networks.I love new age,world,gosphel,contemporary christian and jewish music.I like to play the keyboard as well.I have a CASIO WK3800 and I want to add some hardware on where I can use my computer skills with music.The software I like to use is FL Studio and Cakewalk.I like the song you 2 did on FL Studio.I am leagly blind and I play by ear.I hope to be able to mix my computer skills with music.

    • Out of curiosity since ur legally blind. How do u plan on making music with a computer? or r u just selectively blind?

    @Dan

    I also found it through Pandora. And I agree, very epic!

  10. Currently my best find of this year. I’ve been listening to this album non-stop for the last 3 days, after being prompted to buy it from Amazon mp3 after hearing ‘Ladder to the Sky’.

    It’s amazing how the best music is never what’s played on the radio. Tending to the common ear of the masses has nothing to do with good music.

    The best things are far too often the hardest to find- great job and keep up the work, zircon :)

    “Breating” with Jillian is far and beyond the best track I’ve heard in ages on *any* album. Beautiful!

    I enjoyed speed of light. I love video game music as well. Some of my favorites are from video games. I have to say the speed of light song sounds a little bit like the ending song to soulblazer. Old supernintendo video game. Like a variation on a theme. Well done on all your work. Love it all.

  15. I also found your music through Pandora. It came on and I thought it was awesome so I looked at the artist. When I saw Zircon I thought “hey, its the same name as that remixer from OCremix.” After looking into it, it seems you two were the same all along. Awesome music, never stop!
