The FITTEST Original Soundtrack is a tribute to classic video game music, featuring twelve full musical tracks in a wide range of musical styles influenced by such games as Turrican, Mega Man, Donkey Kong Country, Contra and Dance Dance Revolution. Throughout the highly melodic score, zircon (Andrew Aversa) expands beyond the realm of his previous breakbeat and trance albums with tracks like “Morsecode” (uptempo electro-funk), “Fusion Master” (80s synth pop in the style of Michael Jackson), “Star Command” (over-the-top rock/metal), and “Psychesphere” (psychedelic, sitar-laden grooves.)

Of course, there’s still plenty of electronica to go around. zircon’s trademark technique of combining organic, acoustic instruments with enormous beats and deep synths can be found in many of the tracks like the micro-dance tune “Cellular” and the BT-inspired “Photosynthesis”. Even the startup logo sound effects and menu music were included (all designed by zircon), with every track carefully edited, looped and mastered for your listening pleasure.

So, if you’re a fan of video game music and arrangements, or even if you’re one to just linger on a stage for a few more seconds to hear the BGM loop, this is your jam!

FITTEST is available now on Xbox Live Indie Games for 400 Microsoft Points!

This is Seriously the best CD i’ve ever heard of my life, and i’m serious.

Sometimes, in a good CD with Techno music, theres always some songs that’s not very good.

But This CD, every Seconds of each songs makes me smile, this is soooo good! :D

Continue the great work with FL :)

your very good and this isnt cliche music. Its much better than the pop garbage on the itunes top 300. Im 16 and i am alot like you. My music is rarely repetetive and usually pretty unique. I was wondering if you had classical training because i know thats how i got good. i just recently discovered electronical music production via fl and keyboard and all that and its made me completely stray away from my classical training. Has this happened to you at all? I was just begening to learn demanding classical pieces and now when i play with fl or anything else it sorta feels like a guilty pleasure because classical music is so much more complex and difficult. I was wondering if you feel that way also. You’re more skilled than me at fl studios now and i wondered how you got to that point. comment back yo!

  4. Took a quick preview listen at cd baby, great stuff zircon. i am buying this album + antigrav singles. This album is perfect example of how to escape the bondage of commercial trance and still make it trancy. took a look at your other stuff too, this album seems to be your best work.

Dreams of cobalt – awesome synth rush to my brain.
Looking glass/Glacial Reflection – great tracks too
Fusion Master – reminds me of Sonic 3 hydro city level :)

  5. Just purchased earlier today and have had it on loop here at work. I must say it’s quite a compilation of tunes. At times I’m reminded of heavier electronic soundtracks like Einhander, and at others I feel more of a mellow Easter-influence, like Xenogears.

All in all, very glad I got it. Top notch, worth every second of the listening experience.

I’d check out the game too, but I don’t have an xbox.

    Keep ‘em coming.
