“Get Busy on the Veldt” – FF6 vs. Sean Paul Mashup

Four years ago or so, I started a remix of “Wild West” (also known as the Veldt) from Final Fantasy VI. At the time, it was just a sketch, so it used some original beats plus the SPC file with no alterations. I wanted to eventually flesh it out and get José the Bronx Rican to rap over it, reggaeton-style. Fast forward to today; we haven’t gotten around to doing the ‘real’ remix, but I had an idea for a fun little mashup… and this abomination was born:

I had to do a little bit of stretching, slicing and shifting to get things to fit, but I think that the choruses in particular are pretty hilarious. Umaro’s theme at the end is just thrown in there for fun. Nothing serious here at all, but I hope you guys enjoy this one as much I as did!
