Just Hold On Eternal – New Album Preview

If you’ve used FL Studio 9, you probably already know about Just Hold On, the progressive trance song I wrote to demo the program (with additional writing + performance by my wife, Jill!)
What you probably don’t know, however, is that “Just Hold On” was based on an instrumental called “Dreamer” I wrote over a year and a half ago. As part of my upcoming album, I’ve decided to go back to this song, now called “Just Hold On Eternal” and finish it, integrating the vocals from the FL version of the song.
There will also be new vocal parts and the whole thing will clock in at an epic 5+ minutes. This is almost like a successor to Antigravity and I’m really excited about it! Check out the MP3 below for a preview –

I’m not really a big fan of electronic music, but when I heard the demo with FL Studio, I was really taken with it. Jillian’s voice is terrific and the music is really rich and tasteful. This version is more drum-heavy and I suppose more suited for dancing. I liked the softer trance-feel of the other one. But thanks for opening my ears and my mind to this type of music and this process of music creation!
I really like both versions of this song, in fact, I am using the progressive version for my Lighting Design assignment at Uni. Really good production, and the soundscape is really clean. Great Job!
